Remembrance Day
To remember and commemorate those individuals who went forth to make the world a better place for future generations.
Commemoration: 11:00 -11:15 am
Luncheon on the Green
A historic social get together and picnic lunch.
Rendezvous at Anglers parking lot at Macaulay Point Park.
To get there, take Admirals Road to Esquimalt Road, turn left on Esq. Rd. follow to Lampson Street, turn right on Lampson and follow to the end at the intersection of Munro St. You will see the sign and entrance to the Anglers parking lot off to the right.
Historic Hike #2
A nice, relaxed hike in period dress starting at the Sooke Potholes parking lot #3 and heading north towards Leechtown.
Routes: Follow the Trans Canada Highway to the Millstream Exit (Exit 14p) leading to Sooke. Follow Veterans Memorial Parkway, turn right on Sooke Road for approximately 25 Min. and turn right on Sooke River Road and Follow signs to Potholes.
Operation: Castle Keep
In partnership with Veterans Affairs Canada the event will be based on the 1899 – 1920 era. To cover the Boer War, Great War and the Spanish Flu pandemic.
Operation: Homebase
In partnership with “Veterans Affairs Canada” the event will be based on the 1899 -1945 era. Focusing on the theme “Liberation to Victory” and how Canada and our Allies went from the war in South Africa, the Great War and WW2 aiding in the liberation of many countries leading to victory.
Picnic and Walkabout
A relaxed picnic lunch on the green, and a walk about the site.

This small event is phase one of a four phase operation based on the theme “Liberation to Victory”.
